01The story

About Changaram Padasekharam

Changaram's padasekharam (paddy polder) brings farming and backwater together: green fields stretch out to the water's edge, divided by bunds and canals.

It is a calm, open place for a walk or a sunset, and the wetlands draw birds through much of the year.

A living example of the paddy-and-backwater farming landscape of the region.
